Pollination (2018)

Pollination is an interactive installation about the body, masses, spreading and color. 402 white plaster fingers were cast from various subjects. The audience is invited to “take a finger and place it  somewhere it does not belong”. The bottom of each plaster finger uses social media tools to show the fingers' source, and to submit photos of fingers that have invaded spaces. Some interpreted this to entail bodily touch and insertion. Other fingers have been placed in restrooms, restaurants, hallways and more throughout CA and Colorado.  The project continues, as small masses of them are installed in various public places by the artist.
